Founded in 1962 by Preston Barron, Barron Litho is run today by two of his children and one of his grandchildren.

Barron Litho is a graphic arts trade shop in Fort Worth, Texas. Our business is to take customer's files that are created in various graphics programs and output them to film. This film is used by printers to make metal plates that can be placed on an offset press that will print the final job.

We also offer scanning services. These images are either burned to CD or placed in the customer's page layout program.

In the summer of 2002 we added a silk screen apparel printing service. With our graphic and film capabilities, we felt this was the perfect complement to our trade.

In the spring of 2004 we upgraded our imagesetter to a Screen FTR-5055 with a Xitron Navigator 6.0 Rip. The imagesetter is capable of output up to 22.5'' x 40''. The rip is Level 3 Postscript and can handle the latest implementations of the postscript language.

In September 2007 we purchased a Mutoh ValueJet 1604 wide format inkjet printer. With this printer we can do vinyl banners up to 60 inches by 10 feet plus. It can also print on photo quality paper for large posters.
We also purchased a GBC hot/cold laminator that will laminate the output from the ValueJet or mount the output on Foamcore or Gatorboard.

There have been many changes in the graphic arts and printing industries over the years and Barron Litho has transformed itself to reflect these changes.
